About Erisgeir
The Holiday Cottage Erisgeir is a modern, spacious bungalow built by the current owners in the late 1970s. Situated in half an acre of private grounds there are uninterrupted views down to the loch, over to Burg and across the surrounding 2,000 acre private family estate. The self catering holiday cottage is situated at the southern and less commercialised end of the Isle of Mull. So if you are looking for some peace and tranquillity then this is a haven for it. |
Accommodation Erisgeir underwent a refurb during 2008 to introduce some contemporary creature comforts including a brand new fitted kitchen. The holiday cottage has lots of living space and very comfortably sleeps 6 adults (no sofa beds here!!). There are two big double bedrooms and one twin bedroom.
These are serviced by a bathroom with shower and toilet and a separate toilet. The living space is mostly open plan with a large L shaped lounge diner. One of the most enchanting features of the house is the sun room which stretches the width of the house and catches the sun for most of the day. |

Location Erisgeir is situated in a secluded yet elevated position halfway between Bunnessan and Fionnphort. So you can tuck yourselves away and relax or head out to ‘civilisation' at one of the quaint pubs and restaurants that are easily reached by car. The Mull pubs stock locally brewed beers and malt whiskies as well as most of the mainland usuals. They quite often serve on a ‘last man standing' basis too! There are regular events held throughout the summer holiday period including live Celtic bands and celidhs. The Mull restaurants serve food to an excellent standard, notably the seafood. Well worth sampling!!!
The address is Erisgeir, Ardfenaig, Nr Bunessan, Isle of Mull PA67 6DX.

How to Get to Erisgeir The Isle of Mull is accessible by a 45 minute car ferry journey from Oban. The service is operated by Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac) and runs roughly every 2 hours. However the boat can be busy in the summer season and you may need to book in advance for peak sailings ie Saturdays, Easter, school break up days etc. Please see CalMac for further details.
